About Us

Antelope Creek Elementary opened in 1992 and is one of 17 schools in the Rocklin Unified School District (RUSD). The school serves kindergarten through sixth-grade students and has an enrollment of approximately 475 students. In addition, the campus is home to a Transitional Kindergarten classroom, which is available to students in the district. The school is located in the center of a dynamic and supportive community that expresses its values toward education through a high level of participation.

Antelope Creek Elementary School’s staff, students, and parents make up an exemplary community of learners. The focus is on developing lifelong skills in a caring, dynamic environment that fosters self-esteem and individual development. Much value is placed on the many ways to approach learning and each person's different experiences and opinions on the learning process. The staff recognizes that making learning meaningful to the student enhances the learning. Antelope Creek is home to the “Spark The Arts” program of choice in the Rocklin Unified School District. Therefore, subjects are presented in thematic units with integrated visual and performing arts whenever possible. In addition, special visual and performing arts programming is being explored before, during, and after school. Along with academics, emphasis is also placed on developing student responsibility and initiative through the campus Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) curriculum.
